Send G28 to home all axes, then M84 to disable the stepper motors so you can move the hotend freely by hand. If you skip disabling steppers you will fight motor resistance the entire calibration. Do this from the printer LCD (Prepare → Disable Steppers) or from any slicer's console. The printer is now safe to touch.
